A series of woodcut portraits of my wife and fellow artist, Amanda. Based on the early 20th century Japanese Shin hanga print movement. Following the motifs of bijin-ga, or images beautiful woman. Here each image represents one of the four seasons from Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Created in the traditional method of a black keyblock with up to 13 individual color blocks.
