I open my eyes.

A deafening rush of air fills my ears.

Below me, endless verdant mountains stretch to the horizon.

Above me is the bluest sky I have ever seen. 

My outstretched arms catch the wind.

The patterns below me become clearer.

Peaks and valleys begin to form. Growing larger and larger in my view. 

Details emerge, closing fast. 

A panic sets in as I brace for impact.

I open my eyes.
